It is permissible for Muslims to eat chicken. The only restriction is that the chicken is zabihah, that is follows the dietary guidelines of Islam. In the case of chicken, or any acceptable meat, the animal must be slaughtered correctly and in the name of Allah.

Muslims are allowed to eat chicken if it has been slaughtered according to Halal or Kosher customs. They are forbidden from eating pork and shellfish.

Yes chicken is the main meat Muslims eat. They are not allowed to eat pork meat. They also are not allowed to eat blood and some animal organs like spleen.
