I don't believe you can - it is a liquid that is painted on - has a high gloss, a seamless surface over the linoleum and is hard wearing and durable. Used mostly in garages, on cement floors, construction areas, workshops, etc. It may be toxic in the home area.

It is not recommended to use epoxy floor coating over linoleum. Linoleum is a soft, cushioned material, whereas the epoxy floor coating is meant to be put on hard surfaces.

Yes it is absolutely okay to follow through with this. The thing is epoxy floor coatings are actually top of the line and they will work absolutely well with these linoleum minerals. I have also been using them for the past two years and I think they are absolutely great.

First all expoxy is very dangerous to breath in. You will need to ventilate the room for a few days. You would be better off in putting in a wood floor. This is better for your health and looks great without much upkeep. Expoxy you would need to touch up when it became scratched.

Epoxy coating contain solvents that will probably soften linoleum resulting in a molten mess. Linoleum is usually held in place with a low strength glue that will probably yield.

Yes it is okay to put epoxy floor coatings over linoleum. This actually protects the floor in the long run. If there are stains that come on your floor as a result, they will be easier to take off versus having the stain just over the linoleum. The epoxy floor coating is worthwhile.
