Is it ok to serve my puppy dog food with 30% crude protein?

As long as the protein is a high quality meat protein it won't hurt but puppys/dogs only need up to 25% protein, anything above that their bodies really don't use. Too much protein from a low quality food can cause problems to the kidneys because of the ash content.

Yes, the recommended minimum amount of crude protein is 26% so the food with 30% is just fine! If you are concerned just look for a higher protein content, these are usually found in organic or all natural foods. These types of foods can be found at your local pet specialty store.

30% of protein for puppy dogs is harmful. You can give 20% protein, with 1. 5% percent carbohydrate to avoid stomach disorders. poor quality of protein are very difficult to digest.
