Is it ok to put Saltillo tiles in the bathroom?

If Saltillo tiles are the dark red raw tiles, then no it's not a good idea. Look for some tiles with a sealed finish. You might look for non-slip finish as well since it'll be in a damp area. Saltillo tiles would absorb water and crack eventually.

It is okay as long as the Saltillo tiles are coated with a non-slip topcoat. The topcat glazing is necessay in order to render the tiles waterproof and slip resistant.

On the floor yes Saltillo tiles will work just fine, in the shower area on the wall, this is probably not a good idea, not only for looks but because they have tiny pours in the surface that mold or bacteria could cultivate (due to the water). I just hope your doing this for design and not for price.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to use Saltillo tiles in the bathroom. As with any tile, be sure to seal the grout to prevent discoloration.

Saltillo tiles is the best tiles for the bathroom. It is very beautiful tiles.Its a very nice looking tiles.Satillo tiles is totally awesome.I think that is true in general for our bathroom.
