Is it legal to take free Christian graphics and use them for profit?

I want to use a graphic for my album cover.

It depends on how the image is licensed. Even clip art might require you to pay a fee. You should always email the creator and ask first before using imagery.

Yes, but images, even when dispensed freely, are subject to copyright and copyright infringement. Free images that are then used on items that are sold are no longer free. The artist should be contacted at the very least and given the opportunity to say yes or no.

you will have to look more closely into who owns the copyright of the image - you may not be able to use the image, may have to pay a fee or include licence details depending on the state of it's ownership.

No, the Christian graphics may be free to you, the creator of this work must be contacted if you plan to use it when you are making a profit.
