Is it difficult to install a parking brake release cable on a Voyager?

As you probably know, any 50 minute job turns into a 3 hour job. The parking brake is one of those jobs. If it is simply the cable, than it should be an average repair. The hardest part is tracing the path back to the brake it is attached to. If you can do that, than it's a breeze.

As long as you have proper tools and a way to get the van up onto a set of jack stands replacing the brake cable is not difficult. Its always best to get the vans manual first before you start.

It shouldn't be difficult if you have some experience working on cars. First you have to find the part number and locate right cable before removing the existing one.

One can go for it,until makes sure that the tension on the jack is balanced. One should not release the gear control over the voyager. To install the brake release cable, get the perfect cable first. Because, it's easy to remove the old one, but to install a new one exactly,we should be very careful in getting the cable.

Its not hard to replace it, you can use piono wire (the thickest gauge). The hard part is making sure you have the right amount of tension.

It's easy. If you are used to crawling and bending. Buying the right cable is another thing also. Better find a shop that sells and have free installation.

Typically the the process of installing a emergency brake cable is pretty easy if you have a decent amount of mechanical ability. Newer cars may be a challenge though.
