Is it difficult to do repairs on a 1987 Toyota Celica?

Well it really depends on what needs to be repaired. Older cars are generally easier to work on. It will also depend on how much mechanical knowledge you have about that type of engine and suspension. Repairs aren't as complicated as they are one newer models.

Easiest way to attack the problem is to get the Celica repair manual for that model. Once you have that manual, the breakdown of the step by step repair makes these repairs simple, even for the first time repair person. Online resourses even exist that may take you visually step by step.
