Because the uterus is stretching to accomodate the fetus, there can be some strange and uncomfortable feelings associated with it. However, if there is extreme pain or cramping going on with or without a bloody discharge, it needs to be reported to the physician immediately as that can be a sign of a problem.

Of course. Your uterus is growing daily from the size of a fist to the size of a watermelon to accommodate your growing baby. The pain is called round ligament pain and is very common and normal. Contact a doctor for severe pain.

Uterine discomfort during pregnancy is very common and will occur off and on through out your pregnancy. Your baby is growing, which is going to result in stretching of muscles, the uterus and movement of your organs.

I had extreme uterus discomfort, or pain, during the last few months of my fourth pregnancy. I did not experience this with my previous three pregnancies. It was very uncomfortable.
