Is it common for your beast to leak prior to the start of your period?

It is not at all normal on a regular cycle. However, if you are pregnant this can happen. You can still have a couple of periods after you get pregnant.

Yes. The same hormones rise during ovulation as during pregnancy, but drop off to start your period. These hormones can cause milk production.

No this isnt normal. This wouldn't have anything to do with your period. It could be caused for several reasons. You could be pregnant that is the main thing I would check into. Also there is the issue of if you are being stimulated in that area too much. Basically, you need to find out more about your body.

Leaking of the breast prior to the start of your period is not common, however it does occur. It is an indication that your prolactin levels are to high, you should consult with your doctor.

This definitely does not happen to every woman (or even to most women) at the start of their periods. While some women lactate when they are not pregnant with no adverse effects to their health, it might be a good idea to get it checked out by a doctor.
