Pregnancy is a very complicated hormonal dance. This isn't something to mess around with. Mother Nature tends to know what she's doing. It would be a good idea to check in with your health provider as you're likely to be considered 'risky' now and should have closer monitoring. Good Luck.

Yes, it is a great idea. Progesterone is what your body needs to maintain a pregnancy. Chances are if you have had a miscarriage, your body did not make enough progesterone. However, you should discuss this with your doctor before taking anything.

Yes, at least at the beginning of the pregnancy until week 6. Please consult a reproductive endocrinologist for further instructions. Given your medical history, some doctors may suggest additional medications and dosages.

Yes it is a good idea to take progesterone suppositories. Your body needs progesterone to maintain a pregnancy, and if you have had 2 miscarriages already then chances are your body does not make enough progesterone when you are pregnant. I would bring this up with your doctor, but I think it is definitely a good idea.

I was on progesterone suppositories with my second pregnancy. I miscarried at 11 weeks on the first pregnancy and was not on progesterone.Of course I'll never really know if the progesterone worked but I have a very healthy 4 year old daughter from the second pregnancy.

You should always consult with your doctor prior to taking anything while pregnant, if you lost the previous pregnancies due to low progesterone then it would help to maintain the pregnancy. You should have your progesterone levels checked on a regular basis and have regular doctor visits. Never take any medicine without doctors orders.

Whenever you are taking a medication during pregnancy discontinue it's use and then consult your OBGYN. It's always best to ask your doctor because a lot of medications are advised against during pregnancy.
