Is acetone good for cleaning bathroom sinks?

A pumice stone is the best thing to use to remove the hard water stains and deposits in sinks and bathtubs. It really works wonders. It doesn't scratch the metal or porcelain. You could even use the pumice stone with comet to get it extra clean if you so desire.

Acetone is a very powerful solvent. It is good at removing dirt but it can be a little too strong for most counter tops and faucets.

No. Not unless you want the paint stripped off the sink that is. Try a good all purpose or bleach based cleaner.

Acetone is not good for cleaning ceramic sinks because it eats the enamale off of the sink. It is good to clean stone sinks as it is a non porus surface.
