Use creams, beiges, purples. plums, blacks and greens. You can mix it up and spread it around the room. You can also mix gold or silver for frames, vases and candle holders. Also, the curtains or valances can be a huge assest among the mix of colors using plain or patterns window fixtures.

Whites, blacks, and grays could go with magenta. Or pick a neutral color wall and accent with your magenta, oranges and yellows, depending on how colorful you want.

I think a nice cream color would go well with magenta. A nice soft tan would help accent your magenta color too.
