The first time that you have sex, it is never good. For a man, it will be very brief. For a woman, there will be some pain and bleeding. It is usually disappointing. That being said, it does get better with practice, and you can't practice if you don't begin.

I guess that depends on a lot on what you are expecting and your hopes. You should be expecting a wonderful experience, that you will remember for the rest of your life. Make sure that the person is the right one (and the moment), because trust me, everybody remembers their first time.
