Some women have irregular periods as a matter of course, but most do not go without having one for 3 months if they are of reproductive age. One possibility is that you are perimenopausal. If you are not close to menopause, it may be due to low body fat, or a problem with your ovaries or endocrinological system more generally.

Is there a lot of stress in your life lately? Stress can cause irregularity in a woman's cycle. Might be best to see a doctor, see if something is wrong.

A menstrual cycle can be late due to changes in hormone levels. It could also be caused by excessive physical exercise. I would definitely consult a physician about this.

If you aren't pregnant but don't have a period it usually means that you have trouble ovulating. You should go to your doctor because extended times without periods can lead to cervical cancer.
