If I have diverticulitis, what foods should I avoid?

I know about seeds.

The foods that need to be avoided are nuts, seeds, corn and corn products and chili peppers. What you want to eat is food without residue. Some other foods that may cause problems are beans and lentils, broccoli, cauliflour, brussel sprouts, cabbage and raw and dried fruits like berries and raisins.

Diverticulitis is pockets in your colon that have trapped waste in them. You should avoid red meat and make sure you are getting plenty of fiber. Drink plenty of water.
