First, you should find out if the person is allergic to stings,as this is a medical emergency.Putting meat tenderizer on the wound, after removing the stinger is a very common remedy.Putting baking soda or vinegr on the sting area is also good.Putting ice on the area will help ease the pain from the sting.

First of all get the stinger out if it is still in your skin. Make up a paste of meat tenderizer and water. Apply the meat tenderizer water mixture on the affected area. This will help draw the sting out.

Dap ammonia on the sting to denature the venom, and take an antihistamine over the counter medication. Keep your pulserate down and stay with someone.

A yellow jacket sting is treated the same way as any other sting, provided you are NOT allergic. Use a cold pack or ice to bring down the swelling.

Try making a paste of baking soda and water. Put the past on your bite and then wrap it in gauze. If you are outside and don't have any other resources putting mud on the affected area and wrapping it in some type of cloth may help. Consult your doctor if you have more side effects than pain or swelling.
