I would love to live on a farm, is it okay to keep a sheep indoors?

Yes, It is alright to keep a sheep indoors that during lambing. It's okay they are mostly fed indoors in winter as you are clean.

Sheep were bred and raised as outdoor animals, and as such they are usually a lot happier living outside. There are times when you can find a sheep that isn't used to being outside or simply doesn't like being outside, but those aren't very common. You would be better off having a paddock for the sheep to be outside.

Wooled sheep will survive just find outside in normal winter conditions. Keeping sheep inside a barn during the winter presents more of an opportunity for them to get sick, as they will be confined in a damp place in close proximity to their droppings for an extended amount of time.

I do not think that you can potty train a sheep, therefore it will use your carpet as its bathroom resulting in your ruining your carpet.
