It definitely sounds like a battery problem. The battery needs to be taken out carefully and then inspected for any fluids on it. Be careful of battery acid. If it's dry, check for any cracks on the battery. It might have leaked out and is empty. Next open all the cells to check the water levels. Fill or replace battery.

When Jumping a dead battery, you MUST connect both cables to the battery on the running vehicle. On the dead battery cable side one should be connected to positive on the battery, while the ground is grounded out on the chassis. If you Jump your car differently. You should have your vehicle taken in and tested.

One of three problems. You have a loose or broken battery cable. You have a dead or dying battery. Or you have a bad alternator. All of which can be checked by the dealer or a place like Pep Boys or Auto Zone.

Jump starting a car does not completely charge the battery, it will only give it enough power to start. You should always put a battery on a charger after it has been jump started. You may need a new battery if it was completely discharged.

Well if you jumped the car and it immediately stopped working then chances are you have blown some kind of fuse. An improper jump can cause all of problems with a car sensitive electrical system. Hopefully it didn't fry something important like the ecm. If it died later after it was jumped your battery may have just gave up.

Your car has no power? As in the battery is old and dying, just put in a new battery, and try again.

Purchase a jumper battery pack. That will give you the ability to start your vehicle. You may then want to find out what cause your battery to go dead.
