I have had my Mirena in for almost seven years. Is this normal?

No. I would see a doctor immediately. They are designed to be used for up to five years. You are risking infection and possibly worse problems.

I go every yr to the Gynae & last year I asked her if it should be coming out & she said all was fine, but this yr I started 2 feel funny & I phoned her & insisted that she take it out! add a comment

I would assume it is normal. If you are feeling alright then I would say sure. I don't know what Mirena can really cause to humans, but it all matters on how you are feeling.
