First, make sure that it is still alive. If you detect any movement or warmth then take it to your local vet.

Take it to a local wildlife center. Don't give it food or water.. you may cause more problems by doing so. Put the bird in a small box (cut our holes for air) so it can't move around too much and cause more injury to itself and leave it alone until you can get it to a nature center ASAP.

Be very gentle as bird is in shock, no doubt. Cover bird and put in box. You can take to vet or check it yourself to see if still alive or where wounds may exist. Bird will bite if in shock/pain, and wearing gloves is recommended. Immediate care recommended.

A bird that is found unmoving should be put in a small box with air holes in a dark place for a half an hour. Check after that time, you may find it can move again. It may have been stunned somehow and just needs time to recover.

Keep a close eye on him and contact animal control.I found a bird and would gentle throw bread (small peices) at him/her. But I wouldn't go very close to and and take caution in what you to to/around it.

If you can, avoid touching the bird. If it is in an obtrusive location use gloves and a shovel to move it to a more wooded location, such as a park or wildlife refuge. Then, let nature run its course.
