I cannot urinate. Will I be catheterized?

No urinating for 24 hours is not common and can lead to kidney infections. If you are not able to void, then a catheter will need to be placed into the bladder to empty it. It may or may not be left in place.

Maybe you lack water in your body that is why you can not urinate or you have a kidney problem.If you are experiencing this for a long period of time better for you to see a doctor to address your problem.Personally I had experienced that and I took a diuretic tablet "LAZIX" and it works.
