It is OK for each person in a relationship to have friends. As long as the relationship is kept friendly, neither party should have a problem. If this is an issue with the significant other, you may have to talk with him/her to find out why he/she is so insecure in the relationship.

It's perfectly fine to talk to other people, especially if your spouse doesn't give you the attention you need. As long as it's only talking, and nothing physical, there's nothing wrong with it. If it goes beyond talking and becomes physical, then you are having an affair. The choice is yours.

That depends on the relationship you have with your spouse, and your feelings toward the person you are just talking with. If it is strictly platonic, and you know it would not hurt your spouse, go for it. If you are unsure, I would talk to your spouse about it.

As long as it's in a friendly manner and not a sexual one. Don't hide the fact that you have a friend from your spouse. It only makes them suspicious of your actions.
