A white or colorless discharge is normal. Red blood is new blood, so it could be breakthrough bleeding due to a change in medication. But see your physician.

See your doctor. Although vaginal discharge can be related to hormonal fluctuations and ovulation, other conditions such as cervical or uterine abnormalities must be ruled out. Your doctor may prescribe hormones temporarily to restore hormonal balance and relieve blood tinged vaginal discharge.

Are you pregnat? This is something you might want to talk to your doctor about just to make sure everything is ok. Spotting is a sign something could be wrong.

Occasionally when a woman ovulates a small amount of blood may be found in normal discharge. However it also may be a symptom of infection or even cancer.
