Labrusco is a red, table wine from Italy. It is semi-sweet with a light-effervescent. It has some nice berry flavor and a high acidity.

It has a dry yet savory taste to it. Even the more recent bottles have an aged scent to them. Going down after something like some steak it has quite a tangy after taste. Perhaps the grapes are left to ripen on the vine.

There is more than one variety that can be labeled as Lambrusco. The one that is widely available in American markets is the lower end variety. This variety is light, somewhat sweet and with a little fizz. Its nice and pleasant.

Lambrusco Wine is a fairly inexpensive red wine that is comparable to a Port Wine. It doesnt taste fruity at all, its flavor is very strong for a wine and a bit on the dry side. When I have drank Lambrusco Wine I have gotten tipsy quite quickly.

It is a relatively cheap wine. We usually drink it out of the box and mix it with sprite or lemonade. It is fruity.
