In 1894, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the Kellogg's brothers left some cooked wheat out and it became stale. They ran it through a roller machine and it came out as flakes instead of sheets. They then baked the flakes and realized that they had a delicious new food.

They were right. The Kellogg brothers were trying to invent grain-based foods. They accidentally let the wheat get stale during an experiment, and these little pressed flakes were formed.

i think it is the famous Dr Kellog from Michigan who invented cornflakes together with his siblings. they were famous for creating various type of cereals from grains. cornflakes were invented accidentally when they put the corns inside a machine and to crush them but it came out as flakes. as they tried to roast them, it was tasty

I'm pretty sure it wasn't from a mistake but it was from dried corn and mashing it up. Read the box.
