How well do portable showers work?

I haven't ever used one but I know of people that has. They said the showers were small but it surely made you feel better and they liked them.

They work well if you are ok with only medium hot water, and limited water supply. Usually they are warmed by the sun, and have little capacity.

Honestly, if you're only going to be camping for a few days you'd be better off with a "Bath In A Bag" kit. You can find them in lots of camping stores, and they're so much easier and don't require setup. I usually prefer them; I have trouble with portables.

Certain types of certain brands work very well, and most work decently enough. However, I've always found it easier to just use a natural soap and wash in a river/lake/stream.
