Having plenty of chew toys on hand may stop the biting. Puppies will bite when they are teething. If the habit is not controlled it can lead to a life long habit. Putting coins in a soda can and shaking the can when the puppy bites may help to frighten the puppy whenever he shows signs of aggression.
