You can use any type of board, but typically poster board is used. Put all the information from the scientific method on it (Title Problem, Hypothesis, Procedure, Results, Conclusions, Data).
A science fair board is typically a trifold display. They can be purchased at most art stores. You just glue on your content and decoration and you're good to go.
