It's highly stressful. How you deal with it is key. If you have a family, you must realize this. Ask for help. Take little breaks, get out to lunch, have a long bath with headphones on, etc. Take care of you. The rest will fall into place.

The sleepless nights is the worst part of it, but it only lasts a few months, and then should be over.

A newborn bring a lot of stress, but keep in mind the amazing trade-off, your baby! So, ask for and accept support from family and friends. Keep talking with your partner. Get expert advice (if breastfeeding is hard, see a lactation consultant). Call the nurse at the pediatrician's office.
