It depends on the person. My guess is any day but you should talk to you OB/GYN. I have only had one pregnancy and that never happened to me. If you feel pains get to the hospital.

Usually once the mucous plug is lost labor will begin in about 24 hours. That being said if the body is not completely ready for labor the plug can be restored by your body making more mucous.

Your labor could start anytime. While losing your mucus plug can be a sign of impending labor, it can also just be a sign of your body preparing for labor.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell. You could begin labor immediately after losing your mucus plug, or labor could still be weeks away. It is the condition of your cervix that has more to do with labor. In fact your cervix will continue to produce small amounts of mucus even after you lose your mucus plug.

When I was pregnant I lost my mucus plug about a week before my water broke. I delivered two days before my due date. Every pregnancy is different so it's really hard to say.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this really does depend on the person. Uncommon knowledge is actually that your mucous plug CAN (but doesn't always) regenerate - and thus, you can actually lose your mucous plug more than one time towards the end of your pregnancy. Usually, however, it does mean labor could follow very shortly.
