You can get pregnant right away - as soon as you ovulate again. You're actually very fertile after giving birth. Breastfeeding makes it less likely, but don't rely on this as a surefire contraceptive.

You are able to get pregnant as soon as you have had your child. Your menstrual cycle continues and immediately there is a chance of getting pregnant. It is not advised to have a child right after giving birth to one because of risks of cervix taring and because of the necessary healing time for your body.

The next time you ovulate. Some women have one baby and then another one nine or ten months later. Use protection if you don't want another one that close.
