I see you got instructions already but wanted to mention that sometimes the older faucets had different sized water pipes so the hole that it installs into may not fit a newer faucet. You might want to remove the old one first and take it to the store with you.
Supplies you will need to change your faucet: Basin Wrench, adjustable wrench, supply lines, plumber's putty or silicone caulk, teflon tape and of course your new faucet. Your faucet will come with instructions that detail what to do with all of these materials. You will probably need pliers also.
First you turn off the water to the house, then unscrew the water lines from the faucet. After this, unscrew all nuts and screws holding it in place and replace.
Sounds ever so easy but boy if it is an old faucet the one ingredient needed to replace a faucet is lots and lots of elbow grease! It took me a whole lot longer to take the old one off than it did to put a new one on lol. posted by
