How should I deal with arrogant people?

With humility and understanding. Arrogance is a cover for low self-esteem. If someone needs to be arrogant, that is their challenge in life; you do not have to be arrogant in return. Arrogance plus arrogance leads to arguments. Arrogance plus humility is more constructive.

Consider the fact that you might be projecting onto them. Maybe they're not arrogant. Maybe you're feeling the low self esteem.

The best way to deal with arrogant people is to act normally and not let the person get under your skin. You need to be firm and confident. It will probably not be helpful to point out the person's arrogance.

Dealing with arrogant people is not an easy task. Many things to consider is if the person is worth your time. Arrogant people tend to live in their own world and have the world revolve around them. To deal with someone like that is to smother them with kindness!
