Ask your OB/GYN for recommendations. Do not be afraid to approach other expectant mothers in the waiting room to ask for advice. Read online reviews with both positive and negative comments. Check backgrounds for accreditations and sanctions. Finally, make a list of questions and interview your top choices to see who you would want to care for your child.

Ask other parents in your neighborhood for their recommendations or the pediatrician they use. Ask your primary care doctor if they take infants or if they can refer you to a pediatrician. Some pediatricians hold open houses for parents of prospective patients or advertise question and answer sessions for mothers-to-be to interview.
