How often so your eyes get worse?

My eyes have been getting worse, I'm trying to figure out if this is as bad as they will get, or if they will get worse every 5 years.

Your perscription should be relatively stable between 18-21 years of age. It will probably have small changes every year. If it is getting drastically worse, you should be evaluated.

This is something that varies from individual to individual. Your eye sight may continue to get worse every couple of exams, or it could begin to get worse faster. Some people eve report that, later in life, their eyesight begins to get better. This is a case by case basis and should be asked of your doctor directly.

It is always good to have optometrist examine you regularly, but it is also true that your eyes will get worse if you do not exercise them. Try to avoid using glasses to make your eyes strain to see better. Relying on corrective lenses weakens your eyes.

The answer to this question really depends on a lot of things: your age, overall health, etc. You should book an appointment with a licensed optometrist.
