How much would a 1923 US $1.00 bill worth today?

I recently discovered that I own a $1.00 bill from 1923, as I am financially strapped I could benefit from selling it.

Your best bet would be to search completed auctions on eBay. This will show you what collectors would pay for a bill similar to yours in rarity and condition.

Money that was in general circulation at the time it was printed will never be worth more than a couple of dollars over face value. Since the US Mint prints millions of paper money each year there will still be a lot left in circulation so it will never be rare. Figure on getting about ten dollars.
