It will cost approximately two hundred dollars to replace rotors on a Ford Explorer. You should factor in labor as well if you can not do it yourself or have it done by a friend addition you may want to change the brakes on your Explorer at the same time if at all possible.

It is usually about 60 dollars a wheel but alot of that depends on what area you are in and what garage you take it to. If you take it to a local mechanic it will cost you far less than if you take it to the dealer ship. Good luck.

If you have a shop do it then you will need to contact them to see how much they would charge to do it. Otherwise you can go to an auto-parts site yourself and see what replacement parts would cost. I cannot say without knowing the year and model.

Without knowing the year/model of your Explorer I really give an accurate estimate. If you plan on replacing them yourself you can go to a parts stores website and look up the price of a set of rotors. If you plan on having a shop do it then you can call local shops and get an estimate from them.

Depending on the year prices vary but this is generally what you are looking at. $20 to $40 for cheaper versions and $75 to $100 for something with more quality. A quality rotor is important on your vehicle because it deals with a lot of heat displacement. I suggest the better ones.

If you do the work yourself it will cost you the parts and they are at the most $30.00 a piece. The job is not hard once you get the wheel off. 2 bolts hold the caliper on and then you just slide the rotor off and put the new one on after you clean it with brake cleaner.

An Explorer has rear drums, so it only has two rotors. Should be around $100 per rotor, and $50 for a set of new pads, total of $250. If you have a jack, jack stands, and a set of wrenches, it's not hard to do yourself. If you have any doubts in your skills, have it done. Brakes are important.

Well to get your rotors replaced it can cost different based on where you live and other things. You should call up your local shops to get an accurate estimate of what it will cost.
