Peace Lilies typically require heavy watering, though it is recommended you allow the soil to dry in-between. If the leaves start to droop even a little, you'll know it's time to water. Over watering shouldn't be an issue if you follow the general guideline of allowing it to dry.

A Peace Lily needs a very small amount of water. Wait until it is completely dry and then water it until just a little bit runs out of the bottom of the container. An overly wet Peace Lily will create a breeding ground for gnats and will also weaken the roots.

Whether it is in the ground or in a large pot, just water it thoroughly after the top of the soil becomes dry.

A Peace Lily can be watered once a week. If the room is not real light and cool, the plant will not need as much water. They like the soil evenly moist. Don't ever water until the soil is soggy. Peace Lily plants should never dry completely out. Always use room temperature when watering.

Peace lilyplants need a lot of water. It starts to sag when it needs to be watered. To avoid over-watering ensure the soil is dry before you water it again.
