During the summer months, water the plant by spritzing the leaves 2 or 3 times a week. In the winter, once every 2 weeks is enough.

I water mine every 7 to 10 days. I also spray it with a water sprayer every 3 days or so. This seems to really help my cactus to stay happy. Remember that a thanksgiving/christmas cactus needs a little more water than you normal arid cactus.

A Thanksgiving Cactus plant should to be watered every two or three days in warm weather and once a week in winter months. Will not grow in completely wet soil.

You should water it regularly but sparingly when you do. When it's hot during the summer months, water about twice a week. During the winter months water once every two weeks. The leaves will rot so try not to flood the plant. Excessive water will impede the flowering process.

Originally from a tropical climate and not the desert, it will need more water than desert cacti. When soil is dry approximately 1" below surface, add water until it runs out the bottom of container and pour out excess. Decrease watering around March and don't fertilize during this dormant period.

The Thanksgiving Cactus requires little water, little light and cool weather. If your cactus is indoors, it will be happy if you turn your thermostat down at night, although it is usually hardy regardless.

Water your plant twice a week when in summer months and once a week when winter. And when you do, just sprinkle water not directly in your plant.

Thanksgiving Cactus prefers moderate water and humidity. Sunlight shouldn't be given direct to the plant. Sometimes, fertilizers are very useful to quick grow of this plant.

The Thanksgiving cactus should be watered every other week. When you water it, give it a good watering to ensure that all the soil around the plant is saturated. The plant pot should have a hole in the bottom so that excess water can drain away, otherwise the plant will rot.
