Going off the basis that the density of vegetable oil is 7. 64 lbs/gallon then I would say a gallon of vegetable oil is ~7. 6 pounds. However, to be more percise I would calibrate a scale and actually weigh some vegetable oil.

According to what I have found on the internet then the approximate weight for one gallon of vegetable oil is 8lbs.
