How many watts do various appliances use each day?

There will be a plate on every electrical appliance that lists its power use. Typical values are 100 watts for incandescent lights, 1000 watts for coffee makers and microwaves, 1500 watts for vacuum cleaners, 1500 watts for portable electrical tools like saws and drills, and and 500 watts for a refrigerator.

Electric oven = 5000 watts, Water heater = 3800 watts, Microwave oven = 1500 watts, Refrigerator = 200-700 watts, 19" television = 55-90 watts, Laptop computer = 45 watts, Regular light bulb = 75 watts, Ceiling fan on high speed = 6-25 watts, Window air conditioner = 600-1400 watts, Coffee maker = 900 watts.

Iron will consume 750 watts, wasing machine 750 to 1500 watts, air-conditioner 1000 to 1500 watts, heater 2000 watts onwards, oven 1000 watts, micro-vave 2000 watts onwards, fridge 250 watts, TV 125 to 200 watts. The consumption will depend on the size and capacity of the applience.

Television sets use 40 to 100watts,Refrigerator use 80 to 300 watts,Electric press use150 to 500watts,Radio and amplifiers use 5 to 200watts,Fan use 50 to 150watts,Refrigerator use150 to 400 watts,mixer-grinder use 100 to 200watts,personal computer use 100 to 200watts. Electric room heater use 300 to 1000watts,Electric stove use 100 to 500 watts.
