How many "Horton the Elephant" books are there?

Dr. Seuss wrote the wildly popular Horton the elephant books. His books are well known for theier rhyming and easy reader capabilities. There are two Horton books - "Horton Hatches the Egg" and "Horton Hears a Who!" Both books have had video reproductions and the character of Horton was one of the main characters in the musical Seussical.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, otherwise know as Dr. Seuss wrote the first Horton book in 1940, "Horton hatches an Egg." In this story, a 'lazy' bird wants someone else to do her work. The loyal Horton comes along, and agrees to help. The other Horton book is "Horton hears a who" in this he helps very small people.
