That would probably vary from one individual to the next. A third-degree burn is the most severe. It is deep, involving the full thickness of the skin. The skin may be from white to black in color, or it may be charred; it may appear waxy and stiff. The victim usually has no feeling at all in the burned area.

The healing time for 3rd degree burns can vary depending on each individual's ability to heal, taking care of the burn properly, and the size of the burn. Small burns may take anywhere from one week to a couple of months to fully heal. Larger burns may take several months.

Usually it will take several weeks to get healed ,and it also depends on how severe it is. The extent of burn normally decides the healing period. However,it would take a long period if the severity is high.

If the burn has been seen by a doctor and treated than it should not take more than a week or two for the burn to start to dissapear. However scars may stay forever.
