I would probably wait a year or longer. You don't want to give the impression that your moving to fast. You need time to grieve.

A good rule of thumb that I've always been told was one-two months per year of marriage, with a minimum of one year to start with.

Years ago the appropriate waiting time to remarry was no less than one year. However today, it is a matter of personal preference.
