Repo people can normally repossess a car within one week after they receive the order from the lending institution. They usually look for a good opportunity to get the vehicle.

If you have missed 3 payments then they may be coming after it soon. It depends on the laws in your state. Once they find it they will need 10 minutes or less to either load it on a trailer or use their tools, unlock it, and drive it off.

This can be a tricky question, but it mainly depends on who the loan lender is. They alone know how much tolerance they have before they feel like someone is just trying to break the law. Communication with the loan company is key to keeping your vehicle.

That depends almost completely on the schedule of the repo man and the information that he has on you. If he knows where your car is and when you won't be around to contest its removal, it'll be missing the next time you go looking for it.
