The fetus has a heartbeat at 22 days after the conception, by the 5th week of pregnancy. At the 9th or 10th week, you would be able to hear it.

Your baby's heart beat is beating by about 18 days but it is so small that it can't be heard or seen until around 6-7 weeks. It is so cool to see it on the ultrasound. It takes that long to be able to hear it because it is so little that it's very difficult the hear.
