Pit Bulls live between twelve and fourteen years on average. They are a popular fighting dog breed which may affect their actuary table entry. The good news, this means they may live a little longer in a loving home environment. Not long enough, some say, too long say others.

You must not have ever met a loving pit raised with a loving family or you wouldn't ever call the a fighting dog. I hope my pit lives just as long as me he is the best friend I have ever had!  add a comment

Pit Bulls have an average life span of 12-15 years of age. Depending on the environment, food and hygiene, their life can be longer / shorter. If your dog is in range of the age mentioned, you might want to see a vet for it to stay in healthy state.

Pit bulls generally live twelve to fifteen years, like most other dogs. But they can live longer if they are healthy, in good shape, and are well taken care of. But, sadly there is a chance that they could live shorter lives, but a loved dog, who is taken care of tends to live longer than most.

The average lifespan of a pit bull is about 12 years. A dog who is well cared for can certainly live longer. Many live to age 16 and longer.
