Freezing generally prolongs the longevity of a product, especially meat, but be sure that your food is protected from freezer burn. Without freezer burn, it can last upto 1 year.

Ham can last pretty long in the freezer, but it depends on how it is wrapped. I had some ham awhile back that I kept it in a plastic container, and in a few days: freezer burn. I once had a beautifully wrapped ham as a gift and i kept it in the freezer for 6 months! It baked alright.
