How long after this will i get my period again?

It's been 5 weeks since I gave birth and my period has not come but i've had discharge liquid.

It depends. If you are breastfeeding regularly, you may not get a period until you have stopped or gone done to fewer feeding or pumping sessions. If you are not breastfeeding, it can take a few months.

That all depends on if you are breast feeding or not. Women who breast feed do not get their period till after they stop breast feeding.
