Rabbits can vary anywhere from 2-20 pounds! Dwarf rabbits are often 2-4 pounds, which is very small. The common pet rabbit is anywhere from 5-9 punds, but there are breeds called Flemish Giants that can weigh up to 20 pounds. I would assume you plan on the average pet bunny so I'd plan on 5 or 6 pound critters.

They can be up to 15 pounds. Your rabbit cage should be at least 30 x 30 x 36 inches. Ideally, there should also be an enclosed sleeping space, and a solid platform for them to sit on--their feet will get sore if on the wire all the time.

There are many different breeds of rabbits, and all of them have different average sizes. You need to find out what kind of rabbit you're getting because common rabbits could be numerous different breeds. Some are only only a pound, others can be much bigger. Make sure the cage is plenty big though, it makes for healthier rabbits.

How large the rabbitt will get depends entirely upon the actual breed of the rabbit. Rabbits can range in size from about 3-15 pounds. There are rabbits that stay small such as dwarfs breeds, then there are medium size rabbits, and then there are large breeds such as the flemish giant.
